Waterloo Public Library offers WPL To Go curbside pick-up during Province’s “Emergency Brake” shutdown
On Thursday, April 1st, the Provincial Government announced “emergency brake” measures to stop the further spread of COVID-19. As part of these measures, current library services and library hours will be affected.
As of Saturday, April 3rd, Waterloo Public Library will offer:
- WPL To Go curbside pick-up at all locations (by appointment)
- Exterior returns drop boxes at all locations
- Public computer and WiFi/study seat bookings at the Main Library only
- Virtual events, programs & services
All other areas of the library will be CLOSED to the public. Collection browsing is NOT available. Please see below for more information about what’s available, what’s not, and how to prepare for a library visit.
Special library hours on Saturday, April 3rd due to the “Emergency Brake” shutdown:
Main Library – 1:00pm to 6:00pm
John M. Harper Branch – 1:00pm to 6:00pm
McCormick Branch – CLOSED
Library Hours (starting Tuesday, April 6th):
Main Library
Monday to Saturday: 10:00am to 6:00pm
Sunday: CLOSED
John M. Harper Branch
Monday to Saturday: 11:00am to 6:00pm
Sunday: CLOSED
McCormick Branch
Monday to Tuesday: CLOSED
Wednesday: 11:00am to 6:00pm
