Vox Books are an updated version of a classic readalong. But, instead of a book and CD combo, the picturebook and audio is all-in-one. Pause, play, flip the page or adjust the volume through the built-in controller. Each picturebook can be listened to through the books speaker, or through headphones. Whether you’re in the mood for laugh or a bedtime winddown, we have just the book for you with more than 120 Vox Books available between our Main Library and John M. Harper Branch.

Playaway Books are a new version of an audiobook. Instead of a collection of CDs, the whole audiobook is available on one small device. Through the device you can pause, rewind or fast-forward. All the device requires is a AAA battery and pair of headphones to get started. From classics like Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White, to new favourites like Wonder by R.J. Palacio- we have more than 140 Playaway’s available between our Main Library and John M. Harper Branch!
